Intown Family Therapy has grown into a staple of the Grant Park + Atlanta community, serving adults, children, and families. All of our therapists work to tailor to the individual needs of each client and family.
We focus on providing clinical expertise to individuals and families with mental health and wellness goals.
We are comprised of a specialized team of clinicians that work with adults, children, adolescents, and families.
Intown provides services such as school observations, parent training, online therapy, play therapy, individual and family therapy. We view our clients using strengths based and holistic perspectives while using evidenced based interventions.

Katelynn Villari, LCSW
Katelynn Villari is the Clinical Director at Intown Family Therapy and holds her License in Clinical Social Work (# CSW000645). Katelynn has worked with children, adults, adolescents and their families. Katelynn received her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Georgia State University where she also focused on referral services for children and families. She then went on to complete her Master’s in Clinical Social work at the University of Georgia in the Advanced Standing program. Katelynn has worked in private practice, hospital, and school settings providing family, group, and individual therapy as well as supportive case management services. Katelynn has over 7 years experience in working with those who may be experiencing concerns with anxiety, depression, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, PTSD, social skills and behavioral and emotional regulation issues.
In sessions, Katelynn is relationship focused, and works to create a safe, comfortable space to grow seek self understanding. Katelynn is trained in evidence-based and trauma-focused therapies and enjoys working through the lenses of play, music, art, sensory, and narrative and talk therapies. She believes laughter is the ultimate healer and is passionate about empowering people to recognize their individual strengths and gifts. Katelynn accepts UHS and Aetna insurance.

Lauren Nichols, LPC, RPT, MDiv
Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about working with children (and their parents), adolescents, and adults. Lauren is also interested in maternal mental health and has completed the Postpartum Support International Certificate Training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Lauren earned her Bachelor degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University. In addition, she obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University and a Master of Divinity from Emory University. Lauren will explore spiritual matters with clients who introduce the topic and find it important for their personal growth and well-being. Lauren is a Registered Play Therapist and believes play therapy is one of the best therapeutic interventions for children and likewise incorporates creative interventions into counseling with adolescents. Lauren has also completed SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) training and uses that model as well as the CPRT (Child Parent Relationship Therapy) model to empower parents to be therapeutic agents of change in their child's life. She strives to create a safe environment in which her clients are able to fully express themselves and acquire new skills to better cope with presenting issues such as grief, anxiety, perinatal loss, infertility, trauma, depression, low self-confidence, life and identity transitions, and coping with illness and/or oncology diagnoses.

Tessa Lukens, LPC
Tessa completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lenoir-Rhyne University at Asheville. Tessa is currently securing her License in Associate Professional Counseling under the supervision of Rebekah Fisher, LPC, CPCS. She offers an approach using play therapy and expressive arts therapy to facilitate communication. Tessa strives to create a therapeutic partnership based on trust and collaboration and offer a space that is warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental.
Tessa has 6 years experience working with children facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, grief, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavioral difficulties, and adjustment issues. Through gentle guidance and evidence based interventions, she helps children build resilience, enhance self compassion, and strengthen their relationships with others.
In addition to Tessa’s work with children, she is passionate about supporting parents and caregivers in understanding their child’s needs and fostering a positive family dynamic. Tessa believes that by empowering both children and their caregivers, we can create lasting positive change that extends beyond the therapy room.
A session together may include challenging negative thoughts and beliefs, practicing mindfulness, improving self-awareness, building distress tolerance, and tackling communication problems.

Elia Lintz, LPC, NCC, CPCS, RPT
Elia is a licensed professional counselor providing services to children, adolescents, and their families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Greensboro College and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. Through both her undergraduate and graduate experiences, Elia has focused on how expressive outlets and techniques can support growth, healing, and self-exploration.
Elia has over 6 years of experience providing individual, family, and group therapy services in a residential hospital setting to children and adolescents, who may be experiencing anxiety including perfectionism and self-esteem issues, behavioral issues, attachment related issues, trauma, emotional dysregulation, depression, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Elia believes in the power of play and creativity, utilizing play therapy while working with children, along with integrating other creative interventions to support growth, change, and development of skills to better cope with life’s difficulties and challenges.
Elia holds value in including principles of neurobiology to encourage children, teens, and their families in fostering understanding of their experiences and to build mastery and confidence when facing distress. She also believes in empowering parents to support and understand their children through times of distress and challenges. Elia strives to provide a playful, collaborative, and safe therapeutic environment to foster change and growth.

Shereen Ashtiani Donaldson, Yoga Therapist, M.S. Psychology
Shereen Ashtiani Donaldson is an experienced Yoga Therapist based in Atlanta. With an M.S. in Organizational Psychology and over a decade of coaching and teaching experience, Shereen is dedicated to helping individuals of all levels, including beginners and seniors, through the transformative power of yoga therapy.
Shereen firmly believes that yoga therapy is a valuable complement to traditional talk therapy, recognizing that it can address issues like trauma, depression, and anxiety that go beyond the mind. Guided by a holistic healing approach, she seeks to restore balance in the entire human system - body, physiology, mind, and emotions.

Eugenie brings a collaborative approach to therapy, creating a non-judgmental environment where clients are empowered to be their authentic selves. With five years of teaching experience in the classroom, Eugenie has developed a strong ability to connect with and nurture young minds.
Eugenie believes that the reasons people seek counseling often point to deeper stories that can be explored and worked through together. She values the role of art in therapy, using it to help clients develop healthy coping skills in their daily lives. Eugenie has experience working with children facing issues such as anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, and identity questions; she specializes in counseling clients from ages three to adolescence.
Eugenie earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Berry College, with minors in French and Anthropology. She also holds a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Agnes Scott College. Eugenie is currently securing her License in Associate Professional Counseling under the supervision of Katelynn Villari, LCSW. In her free time, Eugenie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and savoring a good cup of coffee. Eugenie is committed to helping her clients share their stories and supporting their mental health and well-being journey.
